Granite colors vary from quarry to quarry and vary slightly from the photos shown since each piece is natural granite. We at American Headstones Company only select the finest granite from our supplier base. The granite is selected for close grain structure and must be free of voids and cracks. Each block is precision cut then polished to a high gloss on top while the sides are kept to a smooth saw cut. Granite cemetery markers must meet the cemeteries regulation for cut and thickness.
Every piece is natural granite so every piece varies in pattern and hues, no two pieces are the same. Even Black granite will never be a perfect black as it will always have upon inspection, some slight variations or tiny mineral specks will appear, but it’s the most uniform you’ll find naturally.
We can send you multiple pictures of headstones done on any of the colors so you can see the variations within a specific color.
