Meet the American Headstone Company
American Headstone Company located in Dana Point, Ca. Has been servicing the death care industry since 1983. Started in Norwalk, California as American Casket company and Headstone Company we were committed in helping families during their time of need. Our mission was to help families in the difficult decisions they needed to make at time of death. We believed that families were at the mercy of the funeral home and were forced to make immediate decisions when they were at their lowest emotional place. Along with this they were making bad decisions in purchasing funeral goods and services without the ability to shop around. The industry has now shifted with many retailers selling caskets, headstones, vaults and urns. Amongst the largest retailers we now see COSTCO stores selling caskets at great prices.
Since this evolution we decided to only concentrate on helping families find an economical way to purchase headstones so we started American Headstone Company. We offer expert in house design of your custom headstone for a fraction of the prices charged at the funeral providers. We are also capable in manufacturing our own line of porcelain photographs in partnership with Glazed Images Company located in Laguna Niguel. We offer many sizes and charge a flat fee which includes all the necessary photoshop work, photo cleanup and touchup along with sending a proof sheet to the family before firing the cameo. Cameos are fired on genuine porcelain blanks and placed flush to top of the granite monument with a special high strength mortar that will withstand heavy ground equipment when run over at the cemetery.
